**UPDATED** Fees Information

From the September 2017, our fee prices will rise due to an increase in the living wage and the introduction of staff pensions. Therefore, sessions will be priced at £14 for each half-day, and £28 for each full day.

Please remember fees are payable weekly and still apply if your child is sick/absent or on holiday. Fees can be paid in cash at the nursery, using Internet Banking or Paypal. (See
Fees & Payments page for details.)

PLEASE NOTE: If the nursery is OPEN, and you decide to not send in your child (sickness, holiday, weather, etc), you will still be responsible for your child's fees. If the nursery is CLOSED or closes during the day for maintenance emergencies, weather etc, you will not be charged for any missed sessions.

Please make sure fees are paid promptly either via our website or by paying cash within the nursery. If you are two weeks or more in arrears we reserve the right to terminate your child's place (this does not affect the 15 hours funded sessions.)

Tapestry

Please make sure you do view your child's Learning Journal online on a regular basis.

There are still approximately four parents who have never logged into their Tapestry account.

If you are having trouble logging on, please make sure you have an updated Tapestry app OR you can access it through the website:

http://www.tapestryjournal.com

If you are still having problems, please speak to Jo.

Signing in and out

Please remember to sign your child in and out upon arriving/leaving.

Several parents are failing to do this!

Healthy Eating

We are currently implementing a Healthy Lunchbox scheme. Details have been sent home, and are available here.

Please clearly name all lunch boxes and drink bottles.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Uncollected Children & Late Fee

Unfortunately, we have more and more children being collected after 3pm!

This places us in breach of our registration and insurance. Charges of £5 for every 5 minutes late will be applied!

Our Late Collection Policy can be viewed
here.

Others Collecting Your Children

If you have arranged for another person (aged over 18) to collect your child, and they are not listed on the registration form, please put this in writing. We require their full name, address, and contact number. We will need to see a form of photo identification and be given a password unique to that child.

All of the information requested is vital - if we do not receive this information IN FULL, we will not be able to release your child into their care.

We thank you for your co-operation!

Contact Details

Please inform us of any changes to your contact details (i.e. mobile number, emergency contacts etc) as soon as possible. It is very important we have the correct details.

We will be asking you to confirm your contact information on a regular basis.

Bikes/Scooters/Pushchairs

It is fantastic that some of our children ride their bikes/scooters to and from nursery, but can we ask that they do not come into the nursery.

We don't have the storage facilities to store them and we've had a few altercations amongst the children about wanting to ride them around the garden!

You can leave them outside, but this is at your own risk.

Please may we also ask for you not bring buggies/pushchairs into the nursery - there is a health and safety risk when we have a number of them at the entrance.

Drink Bottles

Please make sure your child's name is on their own drink bottles in lunch boxes.
We have purchased a plastic drink bottle for each child, to allow them to access drinking water at all times during their session/s. However,
these are to remain at the setting. If they are taken home and lost, then we will ask parents to pay for a replacement.

Session Times

Please remember that sessions begin at 9am and 12pm.

For security reasons, the doors will NOT be opened until 9am, 12pm, and 2:45 pm.

Inappropriate Language

Please remember that when you enter the nursery we do expect parents/carers to use suitable language.

Mobile Phone Usage

The nursery has a policy that prohibits the use of mobile phones within the nursery. Please could all parents/carers refrain from using them within the setting.

Suitable Clothing

Please make sure that your child has suitable clothing and footwear for the weather conditions. We do like to go out and splash in puddles when it is raining, so the children would need wellies and a waterproof coat!

Also, could we ask for the children to now change into slippers/plimsoles upon arrival. Thank you!
